Our Core values.

  • you matter.

Your worth is not defined by your past, your mistakes, or your identity. You matter—exactly as you are. We believe in the inherent dignity and humanity of every person, no matter their gender identity, sexual orientation, life experience, or background. You don’t have to earn belonging here.

  • systems matter.

We don’t live in a vacuum—our lives are shaped by the systems around us. From healthcare to housing, education to employment, systems either uphold equity or perpetuate harm. We name and challenge the ways these systems have historically marginalized BIPOC communities. Whether you benefit from privilege or experience oppression, your story is part of a larger structure we must all examine and transform.

  • identity matters.

Your identity is sacred. Whether you are cisgender, transgender, non-binary, or somewhere in between or beyond, who you are deserves to be affirmed. We honor the fullness of each person’s identity and create space for that identity to be seen, named, and celebrated.

  • race and culture matter.

Your culture, traditions, and the lens through which you view the world are deeply important. We affirm the impact of racial and cultural identity—including the language you speak, the holidays you celebrate (or don’t), your views on time, family, and community. These aren’t side notes; they’re core to who you are and how you experience belonging.

  • Neurodiversity matters.

Brains are beautifully diverse. Whether you’re neurodivergent, diagnosed or undiagnosed, thriving or struggling, your way of thinking, sensing, and processing the world is valid. We believe in honoring and adapting to neurological differences, not pathologizing them.

  • sexuality matters.

We affirm the spectrum of human sexuality. Whether you identify as straight, queer, asexual, or something else entirely, your sexuality is an essential part of your story—not something to fix, hide, or erase. Here, we practice radical acceptance and deep respect.

At the heart of this work is a commitment to equity, justice, and belonging. That’s why we boldly say: Black Lives Matter. Stop AAPI Hate. Protect Trans Lives. Honor Indigenous Sovereignty. Our values aren’t just statements—

they are a call to action and responsibility.

  • Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.
